Hey y’all! I’m Milli. I am graduating from Anderson University with a B.A. in Art Education. I have had many people in my life who influenced me to be an art educator.I have grown so much through my four years at AU, thanks to my peers and professors.
I have had the opportunity to explore many mediums and subject matter in studio classes. I have learned that critiques and feedback are a very helpful part of my creative process. Critiques have been something I have missed while creating my own artwork during my student teaching semester.
When creating, I have learned to work past my first idea—just because it’s the first idea does not mean it’s the best idea. Talking to my peers about my ideas usually helps me to develop a stronger concept. Trial and error is also a large part of my creative process. My artistic drive continues to push me to my limits and help me expand on my craft and skills.
