Hi! I’m Miranda Mace.
Growing up I was always doing something creative, whether it was making illustrated books in elementary school or taking advanced art classes in high school. I have always known that I wanted to do something with my life that involves creativity.
My creative process involves a lot of exploration and play. I start out by trying not to limit myself or get stuck on a single idea too early in the process. There are always ways to explore that lead to a better solution. My favorite ways to explore are sketching, word mapping, and researching. I also don’t let my lack of knowledge scare me from giving something a try. That can mean learning a brand new software mid-project or bringing skills and techniques from other areas of life into my design work.
