My creative process starts with research and curiosity. I believe that in order to complete a project well, research into what I am designing and who it is for is crucial. Once research is complete, I can then move on to the more exciting matters.
Trying as many options as I can and being curious about how far I can push a piece is how I approach solving design problems. In order to figure out the most effective layout and placements of elements, I have to experiment with different options to see what works and what does not.
I have a strong belief that design is quite influential due to powerful imagery and type choices. Therefore, design must be used for good. I try to integrate this philosophy into the work that I do because it is important to think of your impact as a design and what messages you might be sending through your work.
