My creative process always follows a similar formula with every project. Basically, I like to make a mess and leave no stone unturned when trying to find a solution.
I love to play around and experiment with different possibilities, concepts, executions, etc. Once I have experimented and found what I feel is the right solution, I can continue to keep refining it until it’s finally ready—though I do need to keep in mind that no project will ever be perfect.
To me, there’s a lot of freedom to be found in a sketchbook, as I can manifest whatever ideas may be floating around in my head. If there’s a phrase or group of words that grabs my attention, I can write it down. If there’s some sort of visual or figure that appears in my head, I can sketch it out to the best of my ability.
